Summer Trails

While smoky and hot on occasion this summer of 2023, there were many pleasant days out west. I was able to navigate the highways and passes various times en route to new and familiar views. Destinations, in order of appearance, are a thinned forest near North Bend, Washington, China Beach on Vancouver Island, the Up Up Up Circus near Bellingham, Washington, a gratuitous sunset in Chinook on the southern coast of Washington, and the classic Lake Serene. Alas, fall is in the air.
